Pigfoot BBQ Co. is owned by Jerry & Debbie Gibson. We started in rib Cook-Offs in 1982 in Cleveland, Ohio at the National Rib Cook-Off, which was the first Rib Cook-Off as we know them now. After owning a pizza & rib restaurant we went professionally into rib competitions in 1989. We’ve traveled the country from Florida to Toronto (in the Sky Dome), as far west as St. Louis and as Far East as Boston. Along the way we have won over 250 Awards for Best Ribs and Sauce. Including 7 time winner of People’s Choice Award in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Best ribs & Sauce National Rib Fest, Naperville, Illinois, Peoples Choice Greatest Ribs in America, Cleveland, Ohio Best Sauce & Ribs Twin-cities Rib Fest, Best Ribs in Ohio 6 years straight and many more awards.

Cowboys BBQ & Rib Co. is a nationally recognized award winning Bar-B-Que competition team with over 32 years of dreams and wisdom. Cowboy’s is operated out of Fort Worth TX by Enrique and Lauren Vega. Cowboys has won over 450 National Titles to date for “Best Ribs” “Best Sauce” “People’s Choice” and more. Cowboys is still traveling over 10,000 miles a year competing from Fargo ND, to Pittsburgh, PA and everyone in between.

Smokin’ Joe’s Hog Wild BBQ has a National award winning barbeque cooking team originating from Olive Hill, KY. Our mouth watering barbeque is great for any occasion. We have a wide menu, specializing in ribs, pulled pork, pulled brisket, chicken, turkey, and our fresh homemade coleslaw. Armadillo’s BBQ co. originated in Atlanta Georgia in 1991. After a couple of years, we decided that it was time to try our luck on the rib-fest circuit. Traveling around the Midwest, we soon realized that we had a strong following, and were excited to win so many awards. We have continued to develop our recipes, and our customers have been very loyal, and supportive over the decades. We started in Houston, TX and our restaurant has been operating in Elizabethtown, KY for the past 15 years.  We use our same seasoning and slow-smoking style that has given us the award-winning flavors you are about to experience in our award-winning ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, turkey and chicken.

Following their hearts, and passion for barbecue, Dave and Adam chose to take a leap in the fall of 2013. Against the advice of many, leaving their stable and comfortable careers, they embarked on a mission to bring authentic, handmade barbecue to the Midwest by opening Fine Smoke BBQ. Marrying “Fine” from “fine dining” and “Smoke,” an homage to the deep seeded roots of authentic barbecue, Fine Smoke strives to match the quality of ingredients and service you’ll find in upscale dining with the meticulous attention to detail and technique that would make early barbecue pioneers proud. Adam and Dave, and the Fine Smoke crew, bring you upscale barbecue wrapped in that oh-so familiar backyard barbecue experience.

AFTER HOURS BBQ

Orville, OH

The joy of entertaining company ‘After Hours’ brought two guys together discussing, experimenting, and cooking barbeque on the grill.  After many summer nights in 2013, these two men, by the name of Al Schroer and Josh Crall, took on the challenge of barbecuing into the wee after hours of their day jobs with much encouragement from family and friends.  With courageous enthusiasm, they put their barbecuing skills to the test at Orrville’ s 2013 Rib Fest.  After winning both Judge’s and People’s Choice their journey was only beginning.  They decided that in 2014 they wanted to try their hands at more rib festivals, and some outside their local area.  So far, they feel as though they have been a success and it is all due to the wonderful support of the people who continue to come out and eat their home cooked food.  They are thankful for all the support, beginning with their wives at home and to the people who come back asking for more.

MOJOS RIB SHACK

New Franklin, OH

Created in 1999 as a National competitive BBQ Team specializing in Southern Style BBQ.  We began competing in ‘rib burn offs’ with an all original proprietary blend of herbs and spices to create our unique dry rubs and our 3 signature BBQ sauces.  Since then, Mojo’s has won hundreds of awards from all over the Midwest as well as a few National awards.   Every year we look forward to the upcoming BBQ season and returning to Lake in the Hills for this great event.
